We used Fulcrum Tours and Travels to book our recent vacation to Jaipur and Udaipur (Dec 2023), and had a wonderful experience. Parvathi booked our flights and hotels, arranged knowledgeable tour guides at both cities, and made sure we were comfortable throughout and was very responsive and available when we needed help.

A well planned itinerary was provided along with a driver and car to take us to all important sights so that we were able to sit back and relax, and covered all “must see” locations. We enjoyed visiting the Hawa Mahal, city palace, Jantar Mantar, and especially Elephant Village and got to ride an elephant! In Udaipur, the city palace was enormous, and visiting the miniature art gallery was a nice touch. It was also interesting learning about the Royal families and visiting the vintage car museum. We savored traditional Rajasthani cuisine as well!

Our sincere thanks to Fulcrum for making our vacation a memorable experience! We look forward to future vacations in India planned by Fulcrum.

Since one week we are safely back in Germany. Work has caught us up immediately therefore today I am writing you.

We are very happy with our Sri Lanka journey as the service provided by your Sri Lankan partner was fantastic.

After this small incident the new car came promptly, the hotel manager in the Lighthouse Hotel (our next stio) also ask about how are we doing and of course even you were calling from Chennai. We really felt being in good hands

Also our "new" driver was very good, whole time we felt safely with his driving style and gave us good information about the sightseeings. The selection of hotels was also fine.
Our favourite was the Lighthouse Hotel in Galle Of course in some area (e.g. Uda Walle NP) we understood that there are only few hotels in a remote area and we understood we had the best in this area. so also no problem.

All together we enjoyed our journey and I really appreciate always your prompt, very friendly, very professional way of communication and service. Really thank you a lot, dear Parvathi!!!

Had Mr Subbu been to Berlin for the ITB this year? It was finished on the same day we had arrived back in Berlin. Would have been fantastic to meet him. But I hope to see you soon once in Chennai!

Thank you very much for a very good holiday arrangement. The scheduling and the bookings were good and you were always at hand to help out when needed. The drivers were very good with exception of the personnel who were allocated in Vijayawada (they were either disinterested or late).

Anyway apart from that – the hotels were superb – specifically Varun Novotel and Taj Vivanta. The drivers (Balaraju and Nagaraju) were very knowledgeable and helpful in both Hyd and Vizag. We were able to see all the places we wanted to visit.

Very nice holiday. I only wish we could have spent more time in Vizag. Clearly a very nice under appreciated place.

It's hard to believe that we've been back for two weeks already. Which is a roundabout way of apologizing for my delay in thanking you for all the flawless arrangements you made for the two of us and for checking in on us so conscientiously almost every day that we were in the south. As in South!

Zero being an Indian concept//invention, it's probably appropriate for me to say that we had a grand total of zero (0!!) complaints. 

On top of which you gave us Mohan, the world's best driver. He was extraordinary as a driver. And a delight as a person. We will never figure out quite how he knew exactly when and where to find us every time we came out of a temple or a palace or a market.

And it was a pleasure meeting you. Before I start on my next career, I will ask for permission to use you as my entrepreneurial and organizational role model!

In large part thanks to you both, India was all I had hoped it would be. And much much more! The same goes for Langley, whose art—so he claims—will never be the same again.

Personally, I think my whole universe has been rather pleasantly rearranged!

The true irony is that in spite of what everyone says and thinks, the culture shock is not arriving in India but in coming back. To a world where there are only two at most three colours!!

We had a wonderful time in Sri Lanka and our driver was very efficient and helpful. Pity he can't speak Tamil but he was very very helpful. Perhaps you can ask him to help your future customers.

The itinerary was good. If I could be permitted to make a suggestion you can give this as one of your suggested packages. If possible I would add Anuradhapuram (as we were very close to the place anyhow) and Sigiria (in fact the driver took us to this place on our return- It was sunset and we could not see the whole place). Perhaps you can add one more day and add Trincomali as well - subject to your clients convenience and the purse!

Very good tour.  The accomodations and food arrangements  were nice and we were able to enjoy almost all the attractions that we wanted to see.  The driver provided was knowledgeable and was very good in taking good care of us.  Vehicle was in good condition as well.

Special thanks to you for helping out when there were issues with some of the hotels. 

Hotel Specific feedback as below:

Serai was the best in terms of  comfort.
Kings Sanctuary – probably requires a fair bit of refurbishment.  Looked a bit old.  The safari was good.
Windflower was excellent in terms of hospitality.  Hoysala was also very good and we had quite a few children’s activities in both places.
St Marks was professional and caring.
Lalit mahal – probably is getting a old… May be you can suggest some other place to your other guests.

At the outset let me thank you for the services. The entire trip was enjoyable despite the unfortunate bandh in Kerala. It impacted us the least thanks to the last minute accommodation to the itinerary which I think was managed well. Thekkady Wild Corridor was an excellent resort with a great view and serene surrounding. The staff was very courteous. Sienna Village in Munnar was a small beautiful resort also with a good view from the balcony. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay in Munnar amidst the scenic tea plantations. The driver was very cooperative throughout the journey, enthusiastically taking us wherever we wanted him to take us and more than willing to stop at spots we wanted him to stop. Overall it was an experience to remember and cherish.

Would certainly recommend the service to friends.

Visited Balaji Temple and then later went to Bhimshankar. 17th we visited Tryambakeshwar & Panchavati, at night we had one darshan of Shirdi Sai. 18th again we visited the shirdi temple and visited places around the temple. 19th morning we againg managed to have our 3rd darshan of SAI. On our way back to Pune we also visited one of the Ashta Vinayak Temple and another Vishno Devi Temple.

We greatly enjoyed our time in India which was in no small measure due to the efficient and friendly service provided by you all. We would love to revisit India and see more of your country, though unfortunately that will not be possible for a year or so. As you can see we got back OK though there was a slight degree of worry when the taxi driver you had organised to take us to the airport failed to arrive. Luckily the Backwater Ripple got someone else so we made it on time. Delhi international airport was total chaos with thousand packed into the space all pushing and shoving. It took 6 hours of queuing before we finally got through to our gate. Maybe we'll give Delhi a miss for further trips though things may be better once the airport is rebuilt.
Anyway, thanks again for looking after us both so well. We hope to see you again in the future.

The training program that you had done with Lotte India corporation limited had indeed made a everlasting impact on all the people who had the oppurtunity to avail their presence for the same . I was suprised to find that the other employees of the concern who did not come for the program had a cult in the mind set that they have missed something special which in itself says how good the program was .

It was really a pleasure attending this seminar.
Since this is a new material, it will take little long time to adopt in actual practice, but we will be doing on experimental basis at our 4000 MW plant at Mundra, Bhuj.

Thanks for the e-mail and the beautiful photos of the Akshardham temple.  It is really magnificent with the water in the moat and at night with the lights on it.  It really is an impressive building!  Thanks for taking us there.  We would never have had the opportunity otherwise.  

We had one day of sightseeing in Mumbai but decided to give the last day a miss because we were going to spend the whole night sitting on the plane.  It was a good decision because we spent a bit of time at the pool and a bit doing last minute shopping for curry powder, dates, some linen and other small items (saffron). etc and generally just relaxing.  The flight back was a bit of a nightmare because someone was sick in the aisle which was pretty revolting.  

We are so glad we visited India and saw all the things we saw with you.  It was great that you know your birds and could share your knowledge and enjoyment of nature with us.  We enjoyed that.  When you visit us, we can show you our birds and beautiful country.

As you already know, I was frequently making extended business trips to Chennai during late 2006 & early 2007. During this period, I came in contact with “Fulcrum Tours & Travels” (hereinafter referred to as “Fulcrum”) in connection with securing reliable transportation arrangements during my numerous visits to Chennai, India from my home in the USA.

I was extremely impressed with “Fulcrum’s” ability to make complicated travel arrangements within and outside Chennai without a single failure. “Fulcrum” staff always adjusted to my frequently changing travel needs and consistently delivered what was promised. Especially considering Indian conditions of multiple uncertainties, I view “Fulcrum’s” performance in this area, to be truly remarkable.

Additionally, on several occasions, I had the opportunity to discuss other issues with Capt. Subramoniam of “Fulcrum” and was pleasantly surprised to find out about “Capt.’s” skills in the area of “Team Building”. I am sure that initially he picked up these special skills while he was in Army. However, he really took a keen interest in this area and developed some excellent training programs which are now being offered through “Fulcrum”. I am confident that most medium and large size Indian companies will significantly benefit from these programs.

During my 30+ years of large scale Project Management work in the USA, I have been involved in several “Team Building” programs. As I was sharing some of my experiences in this area with Capt. Subramoniam and one of his “Fulcrum” partners, I realized how developed “Fulcrum’s” programs already are. I am absolutely certain that with passage of time, these programs will only get even more targeted and effective.
